Heart disease does not discriminate. Heart disease is still our No. 1 killer – taking one woman’s life
every 80 seconds, making it more deadly than all forms of cancer combined. But the strength of mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends fighting side by side is more powerful than any killer. Who will you Go Red for?
Since Go Red For Women launched in 2004, there has been a nearly 30 percent decrease in the number of women who die from heart disease each year. Your donation will support the American Heart Association’s work to continue funding lifesaving research to improve the way heart disease is diagnosed and treated. It will help educate more women to recognize the warning signs of heart disease and stroke. And it will empower women to take control of their heart health, know their numbers, and lower their risk for cardiovascular disease.
